I am still managing to keep most of my focus on the 40mm project and making good progress. This is the latest bunch finished and ready for the table. Another game soon so these will be on table pretty quickly.
Firstly a couple of command figures that came out quite well.
The French officer is actually listed as a Hessen Darmstadt officer but serves well as French with a different paint job, checking his time piece whilst leaning on his walking stick. The British Light Infantry Sergeant is as he comes, shouting the odds at his light infantry skirmishers from the Connaught Rangers.Another unit of Guerilla's completed, each base having a Spaniard in the remnants of his old Uniform to tie the unit together. As always some of these are nicer than others, I particularly like the Sash and Sabre figure loading and the Perry advancing Guerilla.
Doing some photos with the latest painted French so I thought I might as well get some action shots of these guys at the same time.
I used the works camera for these guys and its picked them up much better than my old personal one.
Lastly another group of 8 Ligne bringing me to 32 or 4 groups of 8. I particularly like the figure in open waistcoat and Spanish breeches and sandals.
Good progress, I feel another game coming on.
They look superb

All the best. Aly
Much appreciated Aly
DeleteAre these Sash and Saber Miniatures? What rule set are you using to game with them? They look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much, the vast majority are Perry Miniatures, some of the guerillas are Sash and Sabre, the narrative for each unit should tell you which are which. I am using Sharp Practice and the first game report using them is a couple of posts ago if you fancy a look.
