The butterfly is still strong with the new Boer War project so I am getting a few more figures completed.
These three are all form the new 1st Corps range, very nice and characterful especially the leader in his big black hat.
I have a fair way to go with the mounted figures, these are Foundry and Redoubt, the Redoubt figure came with a Martini Henry on a separate arm which I managed to loose and replace with a Lee Enfield scrounged from a WW2 plastic Partisan sprue.
The left hand figure here is a Hicks Footsore IRA but fits in lovely. The right hand a Perry 2nd Afghan War officer. This is pretty much the finished recipe for Khaki I think and looks about right to me.
These next two a slightly different colour palette, the left figure is from 1st Corp and the right the first of the Artizan Boers.
