With Partizan just around the corner this is pretty much the last I am going to get finished I think. Still lots to base so need to focus on that.
These Polish Lancers finish off a third squadron of these, should look impressive with all those pennons fluttering. A mix of Scheltrum and Renegade German Cavalry with mainly Studio Siberia caps. These will add a command base, along with some others that will add an extra company to the reds, left figure is Scheltrum with a Copplestone head and right is Copplestone
This Russian Navy MG crew is 3D printed off ebay, nice figures, paint up simply. I can use either for Anarchists or Reds. For the game they will probably bolster my Reds.
This Pole, in French horizon blue will finish off a half battalion as garrison of a ruined village. Woodbine miniature.
This Artizan White Officer is not going to be on table but I couldnt help getting him finished, lovely casting.
So cracking on with basing and first up is the Red navy MG.
A Polish Cavalry Leader for oen of the regiments and Mahkno himself (again) to lead one of the Anarchist battalions.
The Polish officer is from Studio Siberia and the Mahkno is a Giants in Miniature figure.
The Sailors are to use as either Reds or Anarchists but will be Red regulars for this particular game, mix of Scheltrum and STP figures.
This second unit is mainly STP with an Artizan officer and one Shceltrum sailor at the back with no cap.
This Anarchist field gun is from Woodbine Designs with a Copplestone gunner at back, a gun layer also Copplestone with a Scheltrum head and a Spanish Civil War Empress gunner standing loading.
I think this works well despite the eclectic manufacturers.
This Red gun and crew are all from STP miniatures, picked up from Empress I think they may now be out of stock. Difficult to get hold of being Russian.
I think the green works with the pale basing to lift it.
The Anarchist cavalry is deliberately painted so some can also be used as Reds Hopefully adding some scruffiness to the Bolshevik cavalry.
This is a mix of STP and Scheltrum figures here.
Again purposely the Anarchist foot are as random as possible, with Copplestone and Scheltrum mainly in this unit.
This next one is mainly STP miniatures with a smattering of Copplestone. Lots of character here.
This extra base of Poles in French uniform gives me an extra half battalion finished for the game.
The extra three reds finished off a third battalion, tow Copplestone command figures are supported by a Scheltrum rifleman with a Copplestone head.
Probably the last base of Anarchists I will get completed, two Copplestone figures with an STP anarchist on the right.
This unit of Red army Siberian Rifles, takes me to three companies, so a week battalion. Last of the Bolshevik foot for this game.
A company of Poles in German Kingdom of Polan uniforms finishes off the second and last battalion in the this uniform, Greta War stormtroopers with two plastic Wargames Atlantic supporting.
This unit of Anarchist horse are all on slightly deeper bases, their bases simply wouldnt fit on the 50x50 everyone else goes on. Mainly STP Anarchists with the odd Scheltrum and a Redoubt Boer.
A last unit of Anarchist cavalry, again soem of these could comfortably mix in the Red cavalry.
A real mix of figures with STP, Scheltrum, Redoubt and Renegade all together.
The Polish Lancers bring me to 3 squadrons of 8 for this regiment, 7 squadrons in total so far.
A mix of Renegaf=de and Scheltrum figures with a mix of heads, mainly Studio Siberia.
Thats about all there is time for folks, hope to see some of you at the show.
Last picture Saturday night before the show hoping to get these last bits in table!
