Another unit back from the basing department recently a unit of Berber archers.
I had the ruined fort out for the game so thought it might make a change for the background.
Mix of metals, I have forgotten the manufacturer sorry, and a couple of the Gripping Beast Plastics which are actually very nice indeed. They go together nice, are dynamic and also take the paint well. Pleasantly surprised.
I have kept to the same painting pallet loosely for most of my Berbers, I think it works quite well. Mix of browns, bieges, black and a little white with the odd blue/grey burnoose thrown in.
These gents will see action in the forthcoming El Cid game, giving the Moors some firepower to counter the Christian armoured knights.
Couple more units to share and then I cna get back on with the Swedes for Great Northern War.
Thanks.
Beautiful archers in beautiful ruins...evocative and superb!
