Firstly inspired by the Polis National Museum in Krakow I painted a few Polish Legionaires from 1919. These will finish off a unit of Polish legion Cavalry. Chunky figures from Studio Siberia, they are really quite nice. I picked up a lot of spare heads to convert Woodbine miniatures Turks into Poles and German Uhlans into Polish Lancers.
Then I had the sudden urge to get stuck back into my long term Sikh Wars project. Starting off with some Sikh irregulars.
Then a couple of Sepoys to finish off a unit I had nearly complete before starting on Sikh regulars.
Once complete I added these figures to those completed in the painted figure box and find I have quite a lot for the basing department to get stuck into.
Oh and then I decided I needed to get stuck back into the Great Northern War so I bashed out the fourth and last battalion of the Swedish Guard.
That all looks a bit more than it is, most of these units had some figures already complete, the Sepoys only needed six figures for instance. Also the Sikh Regulars and the Swedes had already ad all the base coats blocked in by chum Steve Shann. Looking forward to seeing these based in a couple of weeks so I can share with you.
Another game of GA PA coming very soon and still some pictures of my latest Polish Cavalry completed to share. See you all soon.
A lot of great works coming off your painting desk, Roger!

DeleteGlad to see that the paintbrush is working. Lovely figures as always and a wide variety of periods too.
ReplyDeleteCheers Paul, feel I am nearly back on top now with the stomach injury and enjoying my painting again.
